Among those participating will be Keith Jeffery (QUB), Official Historian of the Secret Intelligence Service; Euan O’Halpin, Bank of Ireland Professor of Contemporary Irish history at Trinity College Dublin, and author of Defending Ireland and Spying on Ireland; Dr Craig McKay, author of From Information to Intrigue; Jimmy Burns, author of Papa Spy; Mark Seaman, historian at the Cabinet Office, author of Bravest of the Brave and Special Operations Executive: A New Instrument of War (editor); and Eoin Ryan of Cambridge University.
This symposium is primarily directed at an undergraduate history audience and space is limited. QUB postgraduates and staff, as well as others (subject to space), are very welcome to come, but need to register with Professor Keith Jeffery in advance, preferably by e-mail: k.jeffery@qub.ac.uk.
